Express entry is a system under which you can apply to become a permanent resident in Canada if you have at least one year of work experience in NOC A, 0 or B in the last 10 years outside of Canada or one year of experience in the last three years within Canada. Express entry has three streams under which you can be eligible to apply for PR to Canada. These streams are FSW (Federal Skilled Worker), FST (Federal Skilled trade) and CEC (Canadian Experience Class).
While work experience is an important factor, there are various other selection factors which make you eligible to apply under Express entry, for instance, your age, CLB level (Canadian Language Benchmark), your education, your family size, proof of funds etc.
